COVID-19 UPDATE

                   

To Our Valued Patients and Dental Community:

 

Mountain View Perio remains open COVID-19 safety protocols. Here's what you can expect:

 

  • We ask that patients arrive 10-15 minutes early for COVID pre-screening questions and a no-touch temperature reading. You may also complete your COVID-19 screening form online HERE up to one day ahead of your appointment. If you have a body temperature greater than 100.4F or have possible COVID exposure, you will be asked to reschedule your procedure per CDA & CDC guidelines.

  • Patients are asked to call or text from their vehicle upon arrival. Staff will notify patients when their room is ready. Special arrangements can be made for our patients who are unable to call when they arrive. Please, only the patient may attend the appointment. All other visitors are asked to wait in their car. ​

  • Patients are required to wear a mask in the reception area and upon exiting. Masks are provided for anyone needing one.

  • Plexi-glass glass shields have been installed at the front desk area.

  • We offer paperless check-in and new patient exit protocols.

  • Our waiting room has seating spaced a minimum of 6 feet apart. When possible, we ask that patients wait in their vehicle until their room is ready.

  • We have increased frequency of surface disinfection and are using the highest grade of bacterial disinfection .

  • Medical-grade air purifiers with UV bacterial disinfection have been installed in treatment rooms

  • To minimize aerosols in treatment rooms, high volume suction devices will be utilized.

  • We are staggering schedules to allow for social distancing.

  • We have equipped all doctors, hygienists and assistants with enhanced PPE.

  • Our entire staff undergoes regular COVID testing and daily temperature checks. ​

  • At least twice daily, operatories and public spaces are treated with an industrial-grade fogger (hypochlorous acid) killing airborne bacteria and the COVID-19 virus.
